A fish named cat
I like the sound of that
The cousin of a whale
With a teensy, fishy tail
Who floats and swims about
Without a fishy doubt
Of the tide that laps his fins
Which wiggle as he swims
A world of amphibian haze
Swirls about his fishy vase
So sometimes; Cat longs for sea
His scales of blue and burgandy
But Cat’s well loved by his friends
The Erryns, Wills and Bens
So Cat, the fish swims on
‘Til his ocean blues are gone
And sleeps damply soft each night
By the glow of the kitchen light
for Erryn.
